About Our Temple
Divine Presence Since 1850
The Arulmigu Isakki Amman Temple in Kulasekaranputhoor, Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu is a sacred abode of Goddess Isakki Amman, a powerful manifestation of the Divine Mother. Established in the mid-19th century, our temple has been a beacon of spiritual light for devotees across generations.
Goddess Isakki Amman is revered as a protector and bestower of blessings, especially known for granting wishes and removing obstacles from the lives of her devotees. Our temple follows ancient traditions while embracing all who seek divine grace.

Our History
Temple Foundation
The Isakki Amman Temple was established by Arulmigu. Muthu Karuppa Pillai, who had a divine vision of Goddess Isakki Amman instructing him to build a temple at this sacred location in Tamil Nadu.
Expansion and Renovation
The temple underwent significant expansion with the addition of the main sanctum and the establishment of daily rituals dedicated to Goddess Isakki Amman that continue to this day.
Formation of Trust
The Isakki Amman Temple Trust was formally established to manage temple affairs and ensure the preservation of traditions for future generations.
Major Restoration
A comprehensive restoration project was undertaken to preserve the temple's architectural heritage while incorporating modern amenities for devotees.
Continuing Legacy
Today, the temple serves thousands of devotees annually and continues to be a center of spiritual growth, community service, and cultural preservation in Tamil Nadu.

Arulmigu Isakki Amman — Goddess of Divine Strength
Isakki Amman is worshipped as a powerful goddess who protects devotees and blesses them with courage, prosperity, and well-being. The annual Prathishtadinam festival at Isakki Amman Kovil, Kulasekaranputhoor, is celebrated with great devotion, rituals, cultural programmes, and Annadhanam (community feast).

We invite all devotees to take part in the auspicious Koova Abishekam dedicated to Isakki Amman, the powerful guardian deity and divine mother.
The rituals will include:

– Devotional Songs & Drum Performances
– Prasadam Distribution to All Devotees
